About the material :
The KB-HA109 R0 single bowl undermount handmade sink is constructed with premium 16 gauge 304 Series stainless steel. 304 Series of “surgical grade” stainless steel is nonporous, hygienic, rust free and extremely durable. This contemporary sink is hand crafted and boasts zero radius corners, straight walls and an extra deep bowl. It has a satin brushed finish. This elegant finish creates an enduring, easy-to-clean luster and is designed to conceal small scratches that occur during normal usage. The bottom has an undercoating applied and is fitted with sound deadening pads. Both features help deaden sound attenuation and act to reduce the condensation buildup on the bottom of the sink that could lead to moisture problems at the base of the cabinet that the sink is installed in.
